Forgive me if this is documented somewhere, but I have been looking for a simple exhaust valve control solution for the OEM mufflers. I see kits available, but it seems like this should be a really simple solution with a toggle switch. Has anyone DIY'd their own exhaust valve switch? Thanks!

Do the manufacturer of this kit say if it generates an ECU fault code when their system overrides a closed bypass? I don't know if the engine ECUs monitor the current flowing through the solenoid valve coil. If you just earthed the coil using a simple bypass switch, you would stop the current in the bypass wiring flowing to the ECU.

Does the bypass operation relies on the engine ECU/s earthing the solenoid valve (like the F355) or removing the solenoid valve earth (like the F360)? I can't find a wiring diagram for the bypass system (not sure which ECU connector pin controls the system).

Best to just buy a kit from Steve Bisel at Forza Componenti or from Fabio. Or reroute the vacuum lines to give vacuum all the time for our fail closed valves. No CEL lights from any of those three.

I completely forgot about Fabio’s kit. Thank you!
