I had the typical problem with the fuse blocks in my boxer. I replaced one that had melted and I was having problems with oxidation on the tips of the fuses causing erratic performance with the other. I came up with an inexpensive fix that also would maintain the originality of the car. I went to the local auto parts store and bought jumpers that held the normal spade type of fuses. I put female spade connectors on each end. These slip perfectly over the contacts of the fuse blocks. This completely eliminated all of the problems and can be installed and removed without modifying any of the original equiptment.
