Where I live, I rarely see any exotics, and if I do, I'm not that close (it'll be on the highway, etc.) yet sometimes they're parked and I've always been snapping photos with my 1.2MP Samsung phone camera, but now that I see about 1-2 Ferraris average and maybe Lambo or something a day, I figured I'd get a normal camera.

    I'm looking for the following:

    - CANON!!!!
    - MP doesn't matter, these pictures need to be maybe... Half the size of a normal 8x10 piece of paper.
    - Good zoom, I'm normally not too close.
    - Image stabilizer. I'm a noob at cameras, so I think this is what its called (stabilize your images so it doesn't show too much if your hands are shaking)
    - Good colours. This is the biggest thing. I want something that'll take pictures that are vibrant and you can see the colour of the car!
    - Preferably cheap (under 300, 200 if possible)
    - Fit into my pocket.

The reason I say Canon is because it looks like the best company out there. My dads got an Rebel XTI which he swears by and my mom has a Powershot I believe, and she loves it. I know that theres the SD400,600, etc, but which would be good for me?

Thanks a lot for the help guys!

EDIT: Guys, if its easier, I want pics from a camera to look like this:

    Is size an issue?

If so, I recommend one of the Canon Powershot SD ('Digital Elph') series. I have the SD550. It's an older one, but still takes great photos. Many of the newer models have IS.

If not, I recommend the Powershot S5 IS. 12X optical zoom, manual controls, etc..

So you want poor representation of red? :p

In all seriousness, there's a minor color balance issue leading to that 355 sporting a Pinko Corsa paintjob. I'd recommend looking into camera that allows you to access the RAW files (rather than only the processed JPEGs) so you can easily and losslessly fix things like that. I'm not sure if any of the Elphs do, but the S5 most certainly does.

I'm using the Power Shot SD950 IS and couldn't have asked for a better camera. The clarity, perfect color, simplicity, and usability is very pleasing. Let me know if you would like to view any picture samples.

Canon has many variations of the power shot as found listed here, where each feature is explained. http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ProductCatIndexAct&fcategoryid=113

Which ever camera you may get, going with a Canon will probably prove to be a wise move. The quality of many models may not be far of from each other, however many have separate features.
