The Simsbury Airport in CT is hosting an airplane/car show this Sunday. There is typically an age cut off for cars but the the coordinator sent me a note saying Ferrari's are more than welcome- go figure!!. I was thinking of taking a ride and dragging along one of my kids. I heard that there have been Ferrari's there in the past. Was anyone else planning on attending? Here's the info:

    The 26th Anniversary Simsbury Fly-In

"The largest event of its kind in New England"

The annual Simsbury Fly-In and Car Show is the largest event of its kind in New England. This will be our 26th consecutive year. The show brings together hundreds of beautiful airplanes and cars for display to the public, along with great activities for the entire family. We're currently developing our 2011 event, so keep watching this space for details as they unfold.

In 2010, the REMAX hot air balloon provided tethered rides, and spectators were treated to a rare display of the Terrafugia "car that converts to an airplane" in one of its only appearances nationally. We held a number of professional seminars, featured two skydiving exhibitions, and spectators were treated to a formation flying demonstration by the Yankee Clippers. The LifeStar medivac helicopter was here for display. Many aircraft dealers showed their new aircraft, including the new Light Sport category. As always, the aircraft displays featured homebuilts, antiques, classics, small warbirds, amphibians, helicopters, and many regular production models.
