Pardon me if I haven't noticed it, but there seems to be a lot of individual threads with great pics of their diecast collection, but how about in one thread? I get a lot of ideas (and jealousy) from seeing some great photos of what other people have on display and how they're displayed.

I have boring shelves and am thinking of something with more pizzazz. Love the large scale Testarossas in the first couple of displays!

Doyler, what scale are the F-18 and F-16 in your first picture, they look huge!

The F-16 and F-18 (and an F-104, and some other helicopters) are all BBi (Blue Box) aka Elite Force and 1:18.
Here's my friend Frank's car display who started me wondering how the heck everyone else is displaying their collection.

    Awesome setup!
I've never seen anyone else with my display cabinet. Especially with the extra shelves.
Mine aren't in yet, but i have the pegs ready for the glass.
My single door cabinets are basically the same thing, and already have double glass.

Thanks Colm! I actually did some custom work on the HS, painted the rims black like the only "1:1" in existence :)

Cool photos guys. Just finished putting up 2 wall mounted displays. In addition to that I have 3 detolf cabinets from Ikea. The wall mounted displays are superb, the photos dont do them justice. Have a bookcase that houses a garage diorama, a few other diecasts and my pc until I find a suitable desk. Also working on a frame for my playseat which will hold a 27-32" LCD, rear speakers and mockup gauges.

One of these years I will get around to getting my office cabinets built so that I can get my collection displayed propperly. I'm jealous!:( I need to get it together.

CHOPS, where did you get that red 348? All I can seem to find are yellow and blue ones?

    Very nice collection!!

    Thanks!

Thanks Brian. Got all my 348's from Ebay over the past 12 months. Half of my Ferraris have been sourced through Ebay.

Am really liking that huge cabinet with all your 1/43 scale in there.
Is it commercially available or a specially made item?
    Lewis.

The cabinet is custom made.... Bought it from someone who had it built for his miniature trains.

    It looks great.
I have a much smaller case that holds around 50 1/43 scale cars, would love something like that.
Wonder how easy it would be to make one similar myself?
