    Flipping channels today and came across a rally car in a stadium... when did Rally become a part of the XGames... and Colin McRae was entered! Kind of an entertaining ending when McRae rolled his car, yet kept on course after a brief pause and only lost by 1.5 sec or so.

    The guy who won, Pastrana, is a Motocross guy, I think.

    No I did not see it. This is actually the first I have heard of the double. In my opinion, freestyle motorcross died the day the backflip was successfully performed in competition. What else is left? .. A double is pretty cool though. I had never even thought of that. Perhaps there is life in that sport after all.

    On a related note -- does a video exist of Pastrana jumping out of the stadium into the bay at the end of the first XGames freestyle motocross event ?... I was so aggravated that it was never shown, and even now the footage seems to be unobtainable.

    Thanks guys for posting the links to the double. That was flipping awesome (honestly no pun intended). I remember the first attempt at the backflip when he failed -- I think I was more excited then than when he actually made it. This double however was tops.

    I would still love to see the jump from 99, out of the stadium into SF Bay.
