Yeah.. I heard that one too. Its either that or Malaysia.. its a bit cheaper. I haven't been to a Grand Prix before.. How is it watching from the stands? Some say its better on tv.
Malaysia is cheaper. by double. Malaysia will be hosting the event for the 10th year now, it'll be more organized, the crowds will be great everything. i've been to the race many times. however, Singapore's will be something different. it'll be the 1st night race, which is really unique, not to mention a street track too it really depends on how u plan. a grandstand ticket will cost here about RM1000. but it's sure selling fast. they government are doing all sorts of things and promotions, reducing ticket prices, etc, due to the 10th anniversary thing.
I just got my Tix from the Omni Ticket. 4 seats- row 17 at the first corner. I'm really looking forward to this. The night race should be spectacular.
The Singapore track looks pretty interesting. Are they planning to run all the practices and qualifying at night as well? I'd assume yes. According to the track map videos, the circuit will turn left and run under one of the grandstands near the end of the lap. I always wondered if that's possible given the risk of debris.
How about those handheld TVs for rent... kangaroo tv? Are they available in Malaysia/Singapore? Are they worth it?
I'm really itching for the Sinagpore GP. Thinking about the tickets in the middle stands, or else... just a walking ticket might work as well too.
