Granted, I don't follow Singer prices very closely but I thought the current market stood at about $700,000 new (this obviously varies based on spec) and about $1mm used - so, about a $300,000 premium to avoid the wait. Are standard Singer 4.0s now commissioning for $1mm used?

It is a very cool car for sure. Limited production number. They took the best of the Turbo Study and put in a beautiful NA flat 6. You can also elect to have two rear engine covers - one with the whale tale and one more discrete - “easily changed out”. I know that many Porsche fans don’t like them, but I think they are very cool. You get a traditional size/look 911 with modern brakes, drivetrain and suspension. As someone else said, they are like fine gems - spectacular in every detail. I believe if you are lucky enough to have an allocation, it can be built for less than the quoted $1.6 million. But still will be seven figures.

Whether any of these cars we love are worth the dollars is always a question! :)
