New car didn't come with Sirius installed so I picked up a Starmate to tune through the radio. Well fm reception was beyond horrible so I stopped into the local stereo place and had them install a FM Direct Adapter and the reception is almost as good as the stock unit in my old Range Rover. Must have for any non-oem sirius installs.

On a side note, I have the sirius antenna in my trunk UNDER the back deck and the reciever gets perfect reception. No need to put the antena on the top of the trunk.

I haven't bothered installing the direct adaptor because I can usually find an empty spot in the radio freqs to use, it is great having sirius.
