458 Sirius Issue

It's a Sirius issue not a serious issue lol.... After 1 year of ownership I just has some audio work done (amps, subwoofer) and I decided it would be time to activate the satellite radio.... Well when I called they said you have a 1 year free subscription so that means my 2012 never had the Sirius activated which is great for me BUT it would not take the push they kept sending.

Does anyone know if this needs to be updated by he dealer (software/firmware)? I called and my service rep said he wasn't sure and I would hate pay an hour of labor to find out there is no software update. Right now Sirius is sending me one of those portable units that connect thru the FM signal.
