    Hi -

Any California owners know how long the initial Sirius subscription is supposed to be? My car was delivered in September and the Sirius Nav Traffic info still displays, but Sirius radio stations recently turned off and the display shows a number to call to activate a subscription. I *thought* it was a 1 year subscription, but can't recall for sure.

    Thanks in advance!

It is one year. I had the same thing happen. Just call that number to get it reactivated.

Go into sattelite/menu/subscriptions copy down the audio code and traffic code. Call 1888-539-7474. Tell them you want a new account opened even if you have an existing account for other vehicles.

New car activation. They will ask for your name, address and e-mail. I do not give client e-mails out.

Make sure when you call you are out in open sky and tune the radio to station 184. (you might have to do this via voice command)

There probably is a discount, but on a prepaid subscription?

You can use the 1 year prepaid, then shift it to your existing account. You can set that up when you call in to activate. Tell them new car activation, but you would like to shift it to your existing account automatically when the free service expires.
