I routinely cancel. Within a month, they send me another once in a lifetime offer...

I did a life time subscription. Was several hundred $$$ but it Papas off over the years and I can stream via the internet.
Bad part of streaming is if you do a long road trip and to places cell service is non existent then you can’t stream.

Yeah, it's pretty redundant. I would say the pros are the following
    1) You don't use data from your phone dataplan
    2) Sometimes phone reception can be spotty (but so can satellite, but less so if you are in rural area)
    3) Sirius XM offers that traffic/conditions alerts (although I find google maps better)

This all said, I am very much short the satellite radio industry, I think cell phone coverage/price will only improve.

I've been considering the same approach having a half dozen cars with subscriptions at the moment. Given I've grinded Sirius down to $5 a month for each but it's annoying because I can only drive one car at a time. My main concern is the buffering and breaks in streaming versus having the car's build in powered antenna drawing the signal. If its smooth and seamless I'd switch for sure and stream off my phone from now on.

I remember that and should have taken it at the time. That was the deal of the century.

I stream Sirius from my phone into my 458 through a Bovee. Works great and I don’t have to have another subscription.
