    Anything to these? Saw them advertised in "Car and Driver" or somewhere and I'd never heard of them.

    As i understand it, they use "balance ball" technology. In short, they have rounded bottoms to the shoes which requires you to use more muscles to keep your balance.

    I am leary of anything that takes you away from bio-mechanical efficiency and can alter your natural gait. Seems like a recipe for injury.

    Reading in one of their testimonials that they change the way you walk sort of scared me - which is why I thought I'd ask here. ;)
