    kirkwood is sold out.
    any recommendations for north tahoe? need a room on the slopes, short walk to lifts.
    heavenly on the south is not desireable.
    any suggestions?

    When you going? Was just at Tahoe. I don't remember seeing any ski in ski out there but have not tried for ski in ski out since my kid was under 9. Mammoth has good amount ski in ski out and the snow is great there. Was in Tahoe 2 weeks ago with winter storm. It was OK skiing. In mammoth now stormed last night mote to come. Snow is perfect.

    This is Ski Week for many of the Bay area schools (no school) and many families book all of the rooms way in advance.
    Hope you find something.

    If you want ski in ski out, the Ritz at Northstar has it. It is and will be ski week for the next few weeks for Bay Area schools. Good luck
