150 North Riverside is going up fast. 3 towers under construction in one photo. 150 NR is a very interesting building with a super narrow base. The core supports the whole building with no side bracing, pretty amazing for a almost 800 foot building. They are covering all the tracks. Here is a webcam showing progress. Here is a website for the steel strut fabrication on 150 North Riverside. It will take a lot of steel to hold this up on such a narrow core base. https://www.facebook.com/goettschpartners
Here is a photo of the cross bracing for 150 North Riverside and a photo of downtown Chicago. That is one huge chunk of steel, and they will need several of them to hold it up!! Kind of reminds me of the steel fabrication going on in Hudson Yards wich has more tracks to cover. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
