the car shown in that article is heavily disguised under fake covers. not sure how you can say the current one is better without seeing the final design.

Do you think the production model will have that Breadvan style rear end, or is that just for disguising?

    Why SL style?
Actually I think the SC430 had it before the SL.

But even before that, I think the SLK had it.

    yes you were confusing.
dont need google as it has been posted a few times here and italspeed already lol
i have seen artists rendering of what might be the Pininfarina designed coupe/spyder. Looks to be 5000x better than the giugiaro one ;)

looks aside, the car needs to be renewed. the QP platform will do wonders to this spyder/coupe.

I like the idea of a hardtop/convertable. Its good for all year round and you don't have to worry with it. I also think its safer.

"The Spyder will be a strict two-seater with stowage space behind the seats, while the Coupé version should have a lot more rear legroom than the current model, with Maserati proclaiming the car to be a full four-seater instead of the current 2+2."

After seeing that Maserati considers the Quattroport a genuine competitor (Size-wise) for the BMW 7series and M-B S-class, I wonder what we should actually expect?
