I've noticed a more pronounced snap or bind when accelerating and shifting between 2nd and 3rd on my BB, under hard`acceleration not really noticeable but medium or slightly harder acceleration I notice it.

As you pull pack the shift lever to change from 2nd to 3rd while depressing the clutch it will feel as if a very slight bind but a noticeable snap out of gear, on a regular car I would assume a bind from a old motor or transmission mount but as the Boxer trans in integrated in a different manner I am wondering what else it could be, still could possibly be a motor mount causing the linkage to bind but maybe its something else?

just a shot here, clutch not fully dissengaged, motor mounts letting to much torque bind the linkage, clutch forks out of alignment.
how does it shift thru the gears when parked, engine off?

the clutch is hydraulic so no adjustment, it shifts fine when parked more of a torque issue when the motor is under power something binds, loose motor mounts could affect the linkage but the trans being under the motor don't see how it could create any alignment issues from worn mounts.

hmm, well a leaking slave or master would not allow the clutch to fully disengage. a worn pressure plate would be problematic as well, but you'd notice it between all shifts.

since it sounds like a 2~3 problem it may be the fork alignment, 2 & 3 are on the same shaft.
