I'll see what I can do, Ernie, but I'm not a subscribed member, so I'm limited as to how many pics I upload. I used the back part of the metal pins to hold the diode and resistor in place (lightly crimped). I also put those soft yellow rubber plugs (included in the plug kit) around the diode and resistor before crimping to protect them. For extra hold on the diode lead and resistor lead (wire), I doubled it up (bent the lead back on itself so that two parts of the wire were crimped). If it was longer term, I would put sealant in the plug holes for weatherproofing. If I get the chance, I'll try to incorporate a number of pics into one to save bytes. Cheers Ian.
As an FYI, a friend had slow down lights on a F355 spider he was having hell with trying to figure out. He ended up replacing all the catalyst ecus, and thermoprobes and still had the dreaded light. He took to the dealer...they back probed the wiring and find broken or spliced wires on the Motronic wiring harness where it went through the firewall. They suspect someone messed it up at the last major service. Once the wiring was fixed, all good.
