Slow Down light?

Looking at an F40 for sale in Canada. Are the Slow down lights normal?

I tried the search function...

What do they do and how to they work?

i have the same lights. i asked bob houghton about them and the response was that they were previously linked to the cats and would come on to indicate high temps on these and prompt you to slow down to cool them.
since i have no cats now, they should remain unlit, but it still manages to come on sometimes - which i reckon is a little electrical glitch, but i just shut down the engine and restart to reboot the engine management system.
