    Help please. I have just had a test drice in a beautiful 360 but one thing worries me. On upward gear changes the throttle is slow to re-apply the power. Down changes blip properly and the pedal response is fine. I tried on race and no difference. It was only a country road so no full throttle blat but at 4k medium throttle, when I pull the paddle the gear changes immediately but the throttle stays off for maybe half a second or more. Is it just a software adjustment or something more sinister.

    I think shift speed is dependent on throttle position.
    The closer the pedal is to the floor the faster it changes gear.
    Try 5k plus, should be snappy.

    That's how mine is.

    Keep it above 4000rpm. It's not a corvette.

    Completely normal, you probably lifted the throttle too much, this confuses the ECU.
    The CS shifts best above 5K rpm (well actually 8.500 :D ) in race and not lifting the throttle.
    But of course when engine is cold it's best to shift earlier and you could have some slower gear changes!

    Buy the car, you won't regret it!! :)

    Like other said, this is normal. It happened to me on my test drive and I thought it was weird too. Shift above 4k rpms and it doesnt happen.

    Thanks guys, that's good to know. I have asked the dealer to particularly check it when they do the pre delivery service but its nice to have the independent confirmation.
    I am looking forward to it!

    Congrats! Another RHD I suppose? Please post the details after delivery.

    I don't like the shifting as well but it's the technology back then.

    it's particularly bad/ noticeable when shifting 1st to 2nd since you are rarely at 5K rpm, feels like the car is bogging down, weird at first but you'll get used to it...the rest of the ride certainly makes up for it ;)
