    Before the car goes to auction it will be on display at Neiman Marcus at Garden State Plaza in Paramus, NJ starting the 9'th. I def wanna check the car out again. It looked awesome at the NY auto show.



    On October 4th at New York City’s Tavern on the Green, one of the first of these fabulous cars built will be sold at a one-item auction with the proceeds going directly to the Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation supporting that fine institution’s Cancer Center. The brand new SLR McLaren has been most generously gifted to the Medical Center by Prestige Mercedes-Benz of Paramus, New Jersey.

    Those aware of the extremely limited edition SLR McLaren have come to understand that there is a lengthy waiting list to acquire one of these stunning machines. The auction offers the unique opportunity to acquire one immediately. Furthermore, it should be noted that any amount (exclusive of the 10% buyer’s premium) bid over the list price of the vehicle is deemed a charitable contribution to the Medical Center Foundation.

    there is the first one ever built no vin # and rallye in long island has it .they payed 2 mill for it its in the showroom not impressed one bit

    I would be, but I'm on a plane for Chicago in the AM. Damn, would have been good to meet up with you guys there. BTW, if you guys find anything that you like at the store, ask for Joel Mott (Men's Suits) and tell him that I sent you. He's been my guy at NM for a LONG time (sold me my Bar Mitzvah suit...like I said LONG time). ;-)
