Ive been searching on here, but whilst I cant find any threads on this topic, I cant belive soembody hasnt had the problem and posted up, so apologies if I'm repeating...

On hard acceleration, not all the time, and at speed (100mph plus) again not all the time, the car splutters a bit like its having a fuel starvation issue. It will cruise just fine!

Its one of those annoying intermittent faults, but I'm at a bit of a loss where to start. (Fuel pump rubbers were done last year.)

Are the above symptoms of Throttle position sensor failure or something?

    Any thoughst appreciated.
    Cheers
    Adrian

Not a 348, so not sure if relevant, but I had similar symptoms with my 355, and it turned out to be the crank sensor connector.

I posted about it here: like a 6000 rpm rev limiter?

    could be worth a look

Thanks, I'll check them out. They were replaced a few years ago, but worth having a look at. I'm under the car tomorrow replacing the fuel filters so will have a look then.
