    i´m Steffen Müller from Germany.

    since 4 years i modify and customieing ferrari-models in scale 1/18
    now i want to make a little firm of it. so at this time i have this models in program:

    you are right - for collectors from USA teh high euro is not good - i can understand you.

    possible is every model!!!!!!
    but step by step. its not possible to make everyone.
    teh next models are 250 bertone - 250 gte and 412.

    Of course. Gut Ding will Weile haben.

    Just realized what is really missing in my collection:

    GT/4 Bertone

    Say what you want about the design, but in a collection of the "Dinos" (246 to 360), this one should not miss.

    Another one I would love to see:

    Mondial, spider and Berlinetta

    How will you make the 412? There is no model to 'base' it on. You have to create it from nothing, right?

    Also, Steffen, if you want to sell more models:

    1) considering upgrading you website to allow for more use
    2) Take PayPal. People in US love PayPal. Very efficient.
    3) Become a FerrariChat sponsor. Very good advertising!

    All good recommendations.

    I would also suggest you collect some opinions here, than setup a poll of what people would like to see next. That way you can prioritize.

    Just for the record: I have bought a few Rosso Model 1/18 cars. I think they're also based on nothing, but their own stuff. Their wheels don't turn and they lack details in comparison with e.g. Mattel (who everybody seems to look down onto here). And they're just as expensive as your prices (not that this is really expensive given your amount of work, just comparing it to a mass produced Mattel). But guess what? I don't care. If you can offer a model I can't buy anywhere else, then I'm in. I'm not that easy on simple modifications. I'm a modeler myself, so just changing the color of a model wouldn't interest me. Just my 2 Euros.

    yes yes yes, teh 308 bertone and mondial are very missing models .. but this a so importend ferraris- so that a big firm like kyosho will make it in future - so it is not good for making it in handmade.

    the 412 - yes ... i make it totaly self! as like the 512s. begining with a block of wood :eek:)

    I would LOVE a 308 GT4 and Mondial Coupe model, but I highly doubt that Kyosho/Mattel/etc.. will ever make them. They are too obscure and unappreciated even in the Ferrari community!

    I'm afraid you're right.

    And Steffen could even use some parts (interior, engine) from 308 models for kitbashing.

    My collection is nothing but holes pre 1970, so I don't care too much. But after that date, there are very few holes. Naturally I would like to close them. 365, 400, 412, GT/4 and Mondial are the missing links.

    yes- i know teh missing links - but two on teh way ... gte and 412.

    from the 412 its no prblem to make a L&R spider.

    as i say - step by step.
    if i make it in next 5 years to my prime work i can make a few of cars.

    I am in for a Mondial 3.2 coupe and a 308 GT/4.
    I also believe major manufacturer will NOT build these in 1/18.

    While not sure of your volume, you would sell many of each on this board alone.

    I'm also in for the 308GT4! And I think a lot more with me :) Perhaps you can try to do a pre-order to see how many models you sell (with a poll??)
