    It was a small show, but had a few rare cars! I went nuts over the 59 Corvette, it was beautiful
    Also had my first opportunity to do a small photoshoot of a C6 Vette. comments welcome

    it looks like a few of the guys were easier to section off... as in more room to take pictures of...

    when that happens, i like low shots a whole lot... wether its a side-profile, 3/4 or the like..... its hard for me to like most 'standing' shots a lot... mabey just because its the norm to do.

    that said, i love the XK140!!!! the 59 is almost great... the small block was producing something like 270 hp (gross) and almost died as the T-bird was killing chevy in sales.... then T-bird switched to 4 doors, and the corvette has lived happily (mostly) ever since ;)

    the one thing i dont like about the 59 is the goofy head-light design... i much prefer the single lamp they had before.

    hard to believe the evolution of that engine is now factory 500+ hp

    Yeah I had only 10 minutes to take all of those pictures :( I would've loved to take better angles if I had had time. Like now that I'm looking at the pictures I think what would've made an AWEsome picture is to take a picture of the maroon corvette reflected in the 59's rims like you can see here:

    I actually like these headlights better on the Corvette, but then again I always like what I've seen in person better. I have some more XK140 pictures I can send you if you want, 6 total if you give me your email
