360 Small fuel rail question

Been looking into cleaning my injectors to try to hunt down the cause of a misfire that showed up the other day. First CEL I’ve have in my ownership of the car. Looks pretty easy getting to them. Just wanted to check and see if it’s preferred to disconnect the fuel line or not.

On the one hand it’s right there and I could move the entire rail to my work bench to disassemble everything else. On the other it doesn’t really look like connector on the hose turns independently from the rubber part and could just be an opportunity to needlessly cause a fuel leak if it goes back on wrong/doesn’t get tightened enough or gets cross threaded.

Either way I don’t think it would cause a huge difference. Risk is pretty low. The workshop manual makes it sound like it might not be worth removing if you don’t have to, but I’ve seen the manual be wrong before. Just want to see if anyone had any opinions on the matter.
