does anyone know where I might be able to get that small part? Mine is broken and will no longer work. I tried a number of used sources (ricambi, eurospares, tutlands, etc.).

Thanks for the referral! I got that from Ricambi as well and I ordered it from vermell!! Question: I noticed one post that stated that there was a small ball bearing inside the knob. I didn't find one. Only found a small protrusion inside the end of the knob that fits between the two copper contacts and forces the contacts open when you turn the knob, breaking the connection (normally closed).

You got to have that little ball, it's required....unless the Mondial is a different design??

Thanks but Vermell sent me installations instructions that tell me very clearly about the ball and how to do the install correctly!
