An earlier thread mentioned a cover for the pulley spindle if you have removed your smog pump...here is my final prototype Image Unavailable, Please Login
There is a rubber grommet on the inside. The whole unit slides firmly on to the spindle. I have had it over 100 mph with no movement
Either case you still have a spinning object. I was hoping to cover the spinning end to prevent something catching on either one.
If you don't want it to spin you can remove the grommet and use it strictly as a cap, there is plenty of surface to JB Weld it on. As for myself, it's completely safe and I like watching it spin. The design makes it impossible to come off!
Why not opt for this alternative! Can JB weld it directly to the pulley and will keep Engine Bay temperatures 40% cooler and just like the spinning cap, guaranteed to f&@$ you up if you get your hand in it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
A nut, to match the OEM threads?? I just tell the State Inspector it's for an optional expresso grinder.....That works, if you have NON CAT labels!!! And you make the smog numbers on HC....and CO
