Simple question. Do you smoke in your F-Car? If so what Ex. Cigar's, cigarettes?
I don't. I'm not a smoker though. I would bet that even smokers would refrain in their f cars. Why would you want to make the wonderful leather smell like smoke?
i said it before: smoking seldom looked cooler than in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j7xgG1PrkT4#t=00m50
Absolutely not....I am not a smoker, but if I was I would not smoke in it....I don't let anyone smoke in my home, either.
not a smoker, it' forbidden I will not get into a smokers' car, and then only as a last resort. Smokers don't realize how bad everything they own stinks. It may be anal, but it is my choice. Tobbaco smoke smell is not any different from any foul smell, that one would normally avoid. Why exclude smoke if other equally foul smells are not accepted?
If you really need to smoke in your car, use electric cigarettes. "...With our smoking products there is no more stale tobacco smell on your hands, clothes, hair, or furnishings. Everythingincluding your car, home and officecan be free of ashes, dirty cigarette butts, and that lingering tobacco smell;"
I'm a smoker. I don't, however, smoke in my home or car, or anywhere else that it's not appreciated. I smoked one in the Ferrari a few months ago...hung it out the window, both windows open. Next day car smelled like stale smoke...gave it a good cleaning and never did it again.
The only Ferrari owner I know who smokes. . . smokes in his Ferrari. . . every single time I've seen him drive it. . . and it's an Enzo! My humble 308, however, has never been smoked in - by anyone.
Followed a silver 550 or 575 back on a 3-hr drive with 30 other cars and both he an his gf smoked the entire way.... I was like...wow...
Well, my mechanic is a genius when it comes to Ferraris. Former Ferrari Race Team, factory trained, inventor. I wish he wouldn't smoke because I want him around for a long while. There's brains and then there's brains.
oooops !!! my bad ! I mispoke... I have smoked in Ferrari and other fine automobiles... it was during sex with a hot woman :=) :=)
Smoking is nasty! I hate the smell of it. I would never smoke in my Ferrari if I did smoke. True Story about smoking... My buddies step daughters car had the catalytic converter stolen off it a couple weeks ago, so his wife let the daughter use her brand new 2011 Audi Q7 S-Line to go to work and run a few errands. The spoiled little ***** smoked in the car all day with the windows rolled up, and even ashed in the ash tray!!! Michael is sooo angry with this girl... she does not care about anybody or anything but herself! It has created a huge war at this house now because his wife knew he would never let the daughter use the car and did it anyway. The car still stinks to this day.
Smoking anything in or around any car ruins it. I won't ride in a car that someone smokes in. It is not only disgusting, it gets into my clothes too, instantly. If someone is a smoker, and smells like a smoker because of it, I won't let them ride in any of my cars either. The smell gets into everything, even if that person wasn't smoking recently they still stink and transfer that odor to whatever they touch.
You can smoke a salmon. You can charge thousands for a meat smoker. You can have people wax poetic about a fireplace or wood stove. People will wax nostalgic about burning leaves in the autumn. You can have people campaign to legalize marijuana. But mention tobacco, and the Pavlovian Conditioning kicks in. Lighting a cigarette in an open top car will "reduce its value by thousands and thousands"? Sheesh. What happens to people who come here and suggest that you shouldn't put any miles on it? A little inconsistent, aina? Yes, I quit smoking several months ago. My sense of smell is returning. But I still don't see all the drama and fury over the "smell" of tobacco. It's nowhere near as bad as some of the stuff people put in the microwaves at work. Wee the Sheeple .... Just watch for the campaign against the "intolerable" smell of gasoline and hot aluminum. "Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms". The primary exports from a young US. It was the profits from tobacco that built the British American colonies. But, today, declare someone "bad", and nobody will defend their rights. Notice that all of those are now deemed "bad", and subject to "sin taxes"? Governments pull in billions in sin taxes from tobacco. Most governments are also campaigning against electronic cigarettes --- which let people quit smoking easily and painlessly. Don't believe everything Big Brother tells you. And don't complain when they get around to making *you* the bad guy who can be taxed to death.
Getting into a car that has been smoked in makes me want to vomit. The nicotine smell can never be fully irradiated from a smokers car as it penetrates leather, carpet, etc. The only thing worse than a car of a smoker is a bar saturated with stale smoke combined with beer soaked into the carpet.
Stay off the nicotine for a few years and you will understand. When one wiff gives you a head ache and you feel like barfing. Trust me, as your body cleans itself you will never be able to tolerate the smell again.
