Hi quick question Do you guys get a smooth start when you press the gas peddle? I have noticed that there is a bit of a jerky motion, nothing bad but it is there. And when you down shift, do you remove the pressure from the gas peddle or do you keep a constant level of pressure? thx
No need or purpose to relasing throttle. I sometimes experience a very (almost imperceptible) hesitation. However, most noticeable and not always, when slowing down and then speeding up, say anticipating a full stop at a stop light and then it turns green , catching the transmission in the middle of a change. Best
It will jerk a bit sometimes when you initially hit the gas, takes a bit getting used to as to how to accelerate smoothly. Owners manual for 2015 says keep foot on gas when downshifting. I get a little jerkiness when i downshift at city speeds, im probably downshifting when I don't need to, hey its fun, we all probably do it when we should just let the car handle the downshifts. Downshifts at higher speeds are much smoother.
Hi, I have the same problem, jerk in first gear from off. Impossible to start smoothly without jerk. I have a 2011 458 with 3000 miles only. how to cure ?
