    Has anyone heard of a service available here in the USA that will send an SMS alert when a new speed trap or DUI check-point is discovered?

    I've heard of ones in the UK and Austrialia, but nothing for the USA, especially California.

    Any info is appreciated ...

    PS: I already own a Valentine 1, in just looking for those times I drive without it.

    I believe that is only available in parts of Europe, and I believe it is provided by a private group. I saw ads in British car magazines for the equipment required.

    I do not think it's doing well there.

    I have not seen that here in the US, and based on the acceptance I read about in England I would not expect it here.
