    Jim, what's your take on this new top? I had a SLK and thought the mechanical movement of that hardtop was graceful. But I'm not sure if I like this one from those pictures.

    The top that was on the 575 that I saw was similar, but it didn't have that circular end piece shown in the picture. The car I saw Saturday morning had short 308 stlye wings at the B-pillar, which covered up whatever mechanism held the swing pins. From the back, it has a 512 look to it.

    Now, of course, for you VIP guys on Saturday night, they might have brought out the real thang! :)

    In person the top was very cool. That said a 575 isn't my thing. A 430 with that top could be very interesting and on a Murcie Spyder it would be super.

    We saw the same car. By exactly I meant the top. The major difference between the am showing and the pm showing was as you know Supermodels looking for Love rarely come out for 9am parties.
