I must say I have heard about MTV Cribs and their rental(s).

I am certainly with Kenny on this one.

If you watch Cribs, more than half the time the star who is touring whichever home does not even know what they are talking about.

Remember people, this is show business; image is more important than anything else.

The Ferrari's are unfortunately not his. He invited my friend over to his house for this and my friend let him use his cars for the episode and they were filming some music videos that day as well. The Enzo, F50, and 599 all belong to one owner which you can see pictures of his garage at www.jtphotos.net Click on Hartford Concorso 2007 and scroll the the bottom. Notice the number on the F50 windshield in the video....its on the F50 in my pics to. Also the F40 belongs to another friend with a pretty cool collection to.

I can tell you that 50 Cent has made numerous attempts at buying my friends yellow Enzo. My friend will never sell the car though. 50 Cent is in the process of looking for the right Enzo to buy.

Agreed...With his earnings of $33 million last year from his music endeavors and an additional $100 million he just made from the sale of Vitamin Water to Coca Cola a couple of months ago (he owned a nice stake in the company), he's not doing too shabby...

That guy is loaded. If he wanted an F40-50, he'd have it. He certainly bought the right cars and has had the sense to leave them stock. Beautiful collection.

I do agree that he is a savy business man. He certainly has made some good decisions financially. However, it struck me as odd when after he talked about the Enzo, he pauses before moving onto the 599 almost as if he forgot the name of the car. I think he said something like, "After the Enzo, the you got the... you got this..."
    Anyone else catch this?

I guess you didn't read the whole thread. They aren't his cars.

I remember seeing him on the news last year when he got arrested(?) for driving his Murci without tags in NYC - a few minutes after Unique Autosport dropped it off to him...

Are you sure Joe, because according to Jason the F40 isn't part of this "set". It's from another owner.

Maybe the Murcie wasn't his either?

I remember a while back in Toronto, Vince Carter was spotted driving a local guys' red Enzo. Everyone went crazy when he pulled up at a hotel and club afterwards, and many pictures of the car were shown. The fact was, it wasn't his car, but everyone assumed it was.

This is a little different. We really aren't assuming... he's telling us that they are his cars.
I think it's pretty sad. We all know he has the money but he still feels the need to lie and be a poser. He has issues... LOL

I'm never going to be able to watch Cribs again. You guys ruined the Easter Bunny for me.

I understand, I was just saying that celebrities can get easy "hook ups" with cars, restaurants, clubs....their managers/agents are always looking for people to sponsor or support them, or even just throw free stuff at them.

+1 right here. One could have dictated what the contents of this thread would have included before it was even started. Although to be fair i expected a little stronger resentment;)

    Hey Kenny and Jason,

I agree that the collection does belong to SC. They are at the Hartford Concorso every year. This year was the new 599.

    Pic attatched.
