Scud owners don’t care about 360 posts.., and vice Versa.

I do as I learn a lot from folks here, so appreciate that regardless of car type.

As a scud owner I still really wanted that gated 360 on BaT recently. Went higher than I expected, but I know someone's enjoying it.

The problem with paddle cars is they just glump together. The newest technology and driving dynamics wins.

Well the 360 single clutch paddle vs my 7sp dual clutch r8 was totally different where the 360 still feels like a manuel and the 7spd felt like a video game or a newer lexus lol.

It's also a difference in reliability. The r8 while like a lexus also doesn't have as many people posting "Please help with my F1.." The "kick with each shift" also kicks the wallet nicely.. :)

Absolutely no reason to by an F1 transmission unless you just can't afford the PDK.

You need a new schtick. I swear 75% of your posts are unsolicited F1 gearbox denigration.

I love my F1. Hard to figure out what not to like about it. It’s a much faster, efficient shift to the manual. I’ve had both. The F1 is wonderful.

Having driven all these cars I'd say that while they are all different they are all also very similar too in many ways. All based off the same basic Alcoa aluminum chassis, all expensive to run, impractical to daily (ofcourse its possible if you try hard), all with normally aspirated petrol engines, all V8's which are all Mid-Engined, all Rear wheel drive and all fitted with only 2 seats! All use the same doors and side glass (unless you have a rare CS with lexan side windows).

...In many ways the performance differences matter less and less with every year that goes by because actually all are fast enough to have fun in and all would be left in the dust by some of the latest electric or electric/hybrid cars.

Different to me are different categories such as luxury segment, 4x4's, ultralight, turbocharged, etc.

Well considering these cars are built between 1998-2009 we should expect some changes from the first 360 off the line and the last scud.

Comparison is the thief of joy. Each Ferrari is its own marvel.

Scud owners might disagree. I've driven several DCT cars and gone just wow at the shifts. But within 5 minutes I've put it in auto because it's just so boring. 4 years ownership of my 360F1 I never once put it in auto, even once. 430 manual now. Best of the bunch.
