Noah, the firest allocations orders were put in mid october for end of february delivery and the second allocations in November for end of march delivery. the dealers in the US have been getting very very little allocations.
No, Eli is absolutely right -- my information was just a bit out of date. I stand fully corrected. nlh
LOL. Actually, believe it or not, I hear Keith is on Chris M's list at FoCNJ. Pretty impressive, eh? nlh
yes i do know that. although i must say, if buying a QP will get you on list for a F430, FoCNJ just lost another 25% of their credit. (they lost 50% last time when they invited keith to their grand opening and not the other real owners from tri-state).
somebody got to take care of the gay owners in the backroom not that there is anything wrong with being gay.
Don't worry -- buying a QP doesn't get you on the good list. And I'm pretty sure that nobody around here is buying a QP.
Here is the real deal on the F430. It's just not around here. Here is a copy of a similar thread under Florida. Enough said. "This is actually an easy one. Not cheap, but easy. When I was down at Shelton, a few days ago, they still had a blue 456M GT on the floor. Buy THAT car for window sticker and they will almost certainly upgrade you to "preferred customer" status. You could also buy a few of their pre-owned cars. Particularly, those that have been sitting in the dealership for a while. It is all about helping the dealership with their more difficult transactions. The truth is that there is simply nothing difficult about accepting delivery of a F430 - they could easily line people up, around the block, all day for that. Those easy deals are also, usually, the dealer's least profitable transactions The Preferred Customer is: the guy that takes the hit on a 456 - to get it off the floor; the guy that pays full boat for a Barchetta - that is worth less than half the window price after the first year; the guy that drives his Enzo for a month and then trades it in - at par. It isn't a difficult position to be in, but it can be an expensive to get and to keep. Honestly, if you REALLY must get a F430 right away don't gripe and wonder, pick up the phone, call Will Campbell, and ASK. I would be very surprised if he couldn't come up with a transaction that would put a F430 in your garage. The only question is what else you might have to take - I'm telling you, that 456 is a WINNER. BTW, if you work out a deal that leaves you with the 456, I'll give you all the money in my wallet for it, the day you bring it home."
