I bought a white 308GT4 off Mark from Canada, it does seem to need both interior and exterior restoration. I wanted to check for the correct color combo on the Ferrari Owners site, but I dont have the engine number yet (car is in transit from halifax)..

My plan was to repaint, redo interior and "relabel" it, it has Ferrari badges now. Having someone on the payroll already that know to do this work I am only spending $3-4 k for quality interior and paintwork. Interior need some stitching, new leather and dye, body may have some rot to fix and later it gets a paintjob.

    So, 308GT4 gurus..
Any idea how many 75 GT4's in white with blue?
What is the correct color name on this blue interior?
Where do a guy find Dino badging? (and wheels?)

Would it be better of stripped of uneccessary parts, cleaned out and built into a vintage racer?
I am playing with the idea, the GT4 seem to be popular vintage racer..

That GT4 is beautiful just the way it is . What a classic and rare color combo. I would do a cosmetic and mechanical detail/service and drive it as is. I think it would be sad to chop it up into a race car. Just my humble opinion since I just bought a yellow '78 308 GTS and I'm doing what I recomended to you. But good luck with whatever you decide. And if you don't want the wheels, PM me and I may consider buying them from you.

It's pretty cool as it is - the white looks great and the blue so 70s.
I'd fix it up the way it is with a couple of reliability upgrades like electronic distributors drive it everywhere.
And don't forget the Eagles cassette tapes for ambience.
    :)

    Two?

But my blue is more navy blue than yours. And my car wasn't white originally, it was silver. Do you think yours is a repaint? Was white even a factory available color? (I'd guess it was).

My car probably didn't get resprayed "resale red" because of the blue interior.

Thought about making mine a track car as well, or perhaps a dual purpose one. That said it probably would hurt the value, and for the price of mods i just bought a 95 M3 all ready set up for track duty. Think i will be more comfy tracking that knowing its more replaceable as well.
    It looks nice enjoy it.

$15k, yes, I think it will be restored and used as a daily driver until I can afford a 365/512BB.

Heres a pic of the engine number, I was a prior owner of the car. As far I as I know that is the original color combination, the paint code is Bianco, might have a pic of it. Best of luck with the car .

The front Dino badge is #20043303 - McCann has it for $120
The rear is #40078800 - McCann has it for $112, but depending on the exchange rate it might be a better buy at superformance

Like I said, I have the wheels if you're serious.

Since it is a "75 it may be a series 2 car, which were badged as Ferraris by the factory, which I think the wheels would attest to. My take would be to drive it for awhile, enjoy and sort it out, the consider cosmetic restoration, they are a barrel of fun to drove. Biggest mechanical issue I had w/ mine was keeping all the carbs synched

It looks like it had the Series II upgrades: Ferrari badge, 5-star wheels, series II bumpers, straight exhaust tips, & possibly others?? I'd probably keep it as it is rather than converting it back to Series I. To me, Dino badges with Series II bumpers will look wrong. (and you really don't want the series I bumpers :) )

The serial # confirms she's an S1 car. Also look at the glovebox (sure telltale sign)
