So I opened a restaurant...

For those of you that know me, aside from loving exotic cars, I've also always loved to cook...over the years I thought about opening a restaurant one day and then life would take over, and those thoughts would disappear.

Well, after over a year of build out, and now 6 weeks of operations under our belts, I'm happy to say that those "dreams" are now a reality. Café Vincero is now open in downtown Tacoma. All Italian fare of course and with a wood fire pizza oven from Italy, tough to go wrong there! Oh yeah, and a full service barista bar with...Italian coffee/espresso by Lavazza.

Having said all of that, I'd like to extend a 10% off F-chat discount to my F-chat friends that I've gotten to know over the years. We are located at 714 Pacific Ave, Tacoma...come see us, even if it's just to check the place out!

I might be visiting Carlo at AoT next week, this gives me a great reason to bring my wife with me. She lived in Rome for several year during her studies and can be difficult to please when it comes to Italian cuisine here in the States. We love Marzano and will be looking forward to trying out your new restaurant in the near future.

 

Would love to have a Fcar & Lambo gathering here...Lots of on street (back in angle) parking in front...we open early (6:30 am) and close when the last person leaves! Great wine selection by the glass or bottle...about 55 varieties now and growing. With enough notice, I can get a street closure permit and turn a luncheon into a car show...but that might be ambitious right now....should prob just stick to having everyone come check us out for now! LOL Looking forward to having everyone come by!
