    They look better than I expected but I see crappy handling, excess unsprung mass and every bump in the road when I look at them. Did you get to drive on them much?

    I think it's the perfect looking wheel for your car and really modernized the look of it as well. I agree with everyone that a big brake kit would look amazing. I think that exact rim in a 19" may be your perfect fit, try it out if possible;)

    I predict that in 5 or 10 years every one will be putting 14 to 16 inch wheels on there cars. As I said in an earlier post, I'm not a fan of these wheels on the OPs 355. But actually I'm not a fan of big wheels on any car. I don't care for the appearance. Makes cars look like they should be on tracks, like those cars Top Gear modified. These big wheels have nothing to do with artistic or balanced design. They are a fad, a fashion statement, and like any fashion statement, they will fade away.

    Being I am a huge advocate of the factory wheels, I respectfully feel these look totally out of place on a 355. Maybe they would look better if the rear was not sticking out past the body.

    But as Robb said, all that matters is what you think.

    Agreed. Doesn't work at all for me.

    The 355 is actually a very small car. Wide, but very short by modern standards.
    The right 19s MAY work at a pinch (and the pic of the car in motion looks quite good), but 20s are way too big and cheapen the car.

    IMO, of course. :)

    I like the way they fill the wheel wells, I think the factory set up sits to far in and looks like crap. I was just thinking my car needs wheel spacers. I wonder how 19's would look also.

    Beauty is always in eyes of the beholder. I know many of you guys like wheel spacers and I'm cool with that. However, if you look at the entire history of Ferrari and Pininfarina, they always place the wheels within the wheel well (tucked in) and I personally think that makes the car look sexy as can be. Not to mention, the function of not throwing stones all over the body. My Maserati GT is the same and I just love that look.

    I like the stock look mostly. I'm split on the use of spacers for the "fill out the wheel well" look.

    Sometimes I like it, but the stock always looks right.

    I think the reason that these cars are designed to have wheels inset slightly is a requirement in Japan that states no rubber may be visible from above looking down on the car. I don't know the background of this requirement that is mandated by their Govt but have read about it in numerous places.

    Maybe a car designer can chime in.

    Most of the time, the original Ferrari designers get it right.

    In the case of the 355, almost everyone agrees it is one of the most "right" designs in the history of Ferrari. Or any car, for that matter. And in particular the wheels are spot on right from the factory.

    Fiddling with the wheels / tyres, and "pimping them up" in particular is a mistake IMO and makes it just like any other crappy car. Which it is not.

    Having said that: it's your car, you paid for it, do whatever you want.

    For me, it's not a question of "looks".
    I ran 19s on my car for a while. I liked the "look". I don't care much about the ride, as I'm more performance oriented.
    100 miles from home and 70 miles from my destination while on the 5 freeway, I hit a pothole. It split the sidewall of the tire. No spare, of course. Car disabled til I found another tire 100 miles away. Christmas holidays.
    Totally unsatisfactory outcome due to lack of sidewall to absorb pothole. 18s are fine for me.
