According to Keith Martin's current issue, both Michael Sheehan and Gerald Roush of FML stated that they have to date accounted for 446 Enzo VIN's.

So our boys at Ferrari are boosting the bottom line but not telling anyone about it!

I have always wondered about this. Its seems that there are way more Ferrari's on the road of any model then what the factory lets on. I started a thread about this I think last year..didn't get too many replies..oh well.

No it does not surprise me. The Enzo is a cash cow so they keep milking the cow!

What catches my attention is G Roush's great ability to track the VIN's!

This is a very interesting topic. What I am really curious about is how many (if any) extras there are of each model. Is it just a few 0-25, a good amount 25-50, or a lot 50+...

For the enzo it's not that big. For some of the vins they proceeded by collecting a vin from a totalled car in factory (not registered, then). This is why some Enzo (the extra ones) vins are so low. If you digg deeper you realise that from what it's written the vin you're looking at should be for ex on a F355 spider/coupé/x...

Didn't Ferrari tell original F40 buyers that there would be a certain amount of them built, and then like double that number? I don't know specific numbers, but I thought I heard they pissed some people off by doing this.

^ If this is consistent with what Ferrari does on their flagships, I would hope that potential buyers start taking that into account when they get on the waiting list.
