I'm in Florida but have a car being serviced at GTM in Greenville. How much rainfall there?

    Thanks.

    Jack.

It has been biblical. Something like 10 days straight in a row with measurable rain.

The rain does not stop— it only lessens and then picks up later.

It is only light rain from Charlotte to the East today. Charlotte stopped getting rain at noon even with the massive flood predictions. It has been a blessing to get the rain and to come in light waves here.

    Good point.

Our running team normally starts at 6 AM in Charlotte, but the rain was torrential to say the least.

I waited a few hours and watched the radar for the "break" in between the rain bands. Was able to do my run with not a drop of rain coming down; although it was still very wet.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those in our sister state South Carolina that got such terrible flooding from the rain. We hope all those impacted are blessed with a quick recovery.

I just heard from GTM in Greenville. Apparently the flooding has missed their area.

Many many area's in Columbia where I live got hit hard. Luckily in my case we were only trapped in our neighborhood for 3 days due to flooding. All else looks as if the rains never came. Any local people feel free to ask for help if needed, I have the time when i'm not at work.

We live less than 200 feet from the Saluda River. Luckily, we had masks, fins, and snorkels available just in case. ;)
