F430 is a spetacular car with an agressive pose and excellent performance. In my opinion it's the best car Ferrari has ever made. But tell me: what's your opinion???

I have been Ferrari owner only for two amazing years. And I don't think I have the authority say this compared to most of the seasoned members at Ferrarichat.com. However, I think the biggest change from the 360 or the earlier models to F430 is the change Ferrari made from timing BELT to CHAIN. This cuts down about $4000 to $6000 in timing belt service cost every three years. In this turbulant economic environemnt, F430 deserves appaud and recognition.

it might save you money on timing belt only, but other parts like tensioners, pullies wear out, seals, all drive belts, water pump, thermostat, even things like CC brake\rotors..all add-up fast on the 430-so the savings may not be that big in the end.

ever price out rotors or pads on a CC optioned 430?

I just had my belts done on the 360 and it was 2,600.00 for them all in..

so you save 2,600.00 every 3 years owning the f430.. I guess that is nice.. but hardly anything spectacular..

I think that would depend on what you consider best. I enjoyed my 430, but my 575 was a better highway cruiser, and my 360's were not quite as planted, and were more fun with the traction control turned off.

A little cheaper to run because of no belts which aren't that much to replace to start with, people confuse changing belts with the major service all the time.
The F430 is a more performance "360", more aggressive looking, low torque, blah blah blah... If you enjoy a 360 then "multiply" the F430 experience, is it worth it? Yes, but
only if you don't own a 360 or if switching cars isn't a big gap in your pocket. One thing is that the 360 sounds better from the get go and the 430 has a peculiar
sound when stepped on below three thousand rpms.

I think the SCUD can top that.

As i said, i like F430 but F430 Scud. is better not only at performance
but at exterior appearance too. If i had to chose one of them I would
take a lot of time to decide...

    Rgrds.
