I've been invited to take a look at the new Ferrari 458, and it looks really good from what I've seen so far. I am wondering if anyone knows if this car will be available or will it have the long wait lines that previous Ferraris have had?

Also what does everyone think about whether this car is going to hold its value?

There's a 458 section below if you scroll down, which discusses these topics.

The short answer is that it will depreciate like a new car does when it becomes a used car, so don't look at it as investment. You can study 360 and F430 values for some idea of how this may unfold.

If you're ready to plunk down the cash I'm sure you won't have to wait long despite what a dealer might tell you.

The 458 will depreciate just like every other new Ferrari has over the last 50 yrs. :D:D
