OK, Max is out and Luca won... but what about the fans? What about the changes in venues? What about reduced ticket prices? What about reversing these stupid rule changes and engine freezes? What about an overhaul of the steward situation with more transparency in the decision making?

I for one would be happy with throwing out the old TV rights and starting fresh to include international internet video streaming.

Also, Max is still around until October! He's a lame duck. What the heck is he going to do all that time? If things are going to be straight for next season, they need new leadership NOW.

Honestly, I'm not celebrating today. I was hoping for some real changes and fresh thinking if FOTA went on it's own. With the FIA still involved and Bernie still running the show, I think only one half of the puzzle has been solved.

All true but this fight was never about the fan.
A number of us are feeling relief today but also feel bit used as well.

Very much true on all accounts. I do feel "used".

How about Bernie lowering the sanctioning fees so tracks like Hockenheimring dont
have to rely on government assistance and huge ticket prices only to still operate
    at a loss?

The question must now be, is any F1 venue operating at a profit after Bernie is
    done bleeding them all dry?

The finances of F1 are in flux. Adjustments will be made and it will be interesting to see who the winners are.

The fan support gave FOTA a lot of leverage. Would be nice if to some degree the winner was us.

I fear that FOTA has won, but the fans haven't. As long as Bernie squeezes out every track to the maximum and CVC are in the boat, ticket prices won't be dropping, and we'll continue to see empty grandstands in countries where nobody gives a **** about F1...
