Poops been backing up like a constipated raped ape over here. New garage is seeing the light of being finished, ended up as a small house rather then a garge. Well going to paint another set of Challenge Rims Found some really nice true leather dye to touch up leather. not the stuff like paint that can peel and flake off but a true dye that does not effect the stitching so doing my seats in black 355 CH car got to hot wire both fuel pumps with an idiot light to show if pressure is in range. New style crank trigger sensors 348 CH add 2 wideband o2 sensors with adjustable On the Fly mixture control COP ignition on the spider And I got a spare early production 2.7 that needs hot rodding On top of that I want to "Christen" the garage with a mini stoogfest this fall Just a little bored today doing paperwork So what Y'All up too? This is my Brain On Ferrari [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5dSLQMaZmGc[/ame]
Sounds like enough to keep you busy 'til mid-week, but what are you gonna do on Thursday. How about some further info on the leather dye and the WBO2/mixture control? Those are on the intermediate term list of to-do items for me. I'm finishing up polishing the paint on my factory wheels, repairing the "hidden fuse", and installing a new head unit + remote locking module. So nothing as exciting as most of your projects...
Nothing else to do might as well hang out and have a cold one, watch the washing machine self destruct
I can bring some animal slabs to put on the grill ..... maybe for the stoogefest, if not too far off ....
You better have a video of a self destructing washing machine (or similar household appliance) after the stoogefest. Mandatory now
And we have to replace our timing belts every three years... Maybe we should be using the belt on that thing... lmfao!!!
I want to blow up timing belts So save your old ones I have a couple news ones we can compare them too I'll rig up something hydrolic with a gauge we can snap them apart with
Cool thread idea for expressing your inner-most self Tim. I need to tackle a nasty oil leak in my car and have been putting it off. Buying a new house in Idyllwild, so now absolutely no one will ever even consider having a Stoogefest at my place. Not sure when the next one is scheduled for (believe it's at Peter's in October though), but if you want to have a mini-stooge day sometime in September, I'm all in and will supply some appropriate grilling thingies as well. When I first watched the video I though it was the stupidest, most immature thing I could imagine. But I could not stop laughing harder and hared as I watched. Was like a shot of gear oil up my tight a$$. FYI: Aniline dyes typically are not used for automotive interiors. They are more like stains that color the leather while allowing the natural texture and character of the leather through. Like semi-transparent house stain. Also, aniline leather, as it is referred to, is not particularly stain resistant, scuffs easy and generally doesn't wear or clean as well as acrylic dyes leather. Acrylic dyes are surface treatments. Aniline dyes are more penetrating. But acrylic dyes should not peel. If they do it is an indication of poor surface prep. As we all know, however, acrylic dyed leather will show wear as the dye wears off leaving naked leather exposed. Picture is of an aniline dyed leather chair. Image Unavailable, Please Login
