I will be there Thursday - Sunday. What should I see/do? Any car related things on Friday? I am gonna be in Lake Forest, but I hear that is not far from Chicago.

Try VOLO Auto Museum, this weekend is a Camaro/Chevy event. Every weekend they usually have some club up there and the museum isn't bad.

Obviously, go to Lake Forest Sports Cars, now located a short distance from Lake Forest in Lake Bluff.

last time i was up there we had gino's east out by ohare, that deep dish was to die for! (i'm not sure how close this one is to you, but i know they've got a few locations) also, the museum of science and industry is a must for any tourist, and we also hit up rush street. while on rush street, go to bentley gold coast, it's a somewhat small showroom but it's packed with cars that you'd be lucky to see on the street, and outside of the dealership, parked along rush street, we saw a ton of ferraris, lambos, bentleys, rollers, pretty much anything you'd like to see in one place. although, from what i remember, a lot of the restaraunts along rush street were fairly high priced.
