Hi Guys, For those of you interested I did a run today and everything was clear.

Topanga canyon to mulholland highway to Encinal Canyon to PCH.

If you guys are going let me know I might just do it again.....

I drove up Decker to the Lookout, Mulholland to Las Virgenes, PCH to Encinal, Decker to the 101 and a greatly needed carwash. Las Virgenes is a little rough. The only real slick part was Decker, lots of water running across the road.

I saw the Pelican group from the Lookout but probably only about 50 cars, seemed like a little smaller group this year or some people took an alternate route?

 

What time did you leave T.O.? I'll have to PM you the next time I head south. I woke up early and drove down to Rusnak Audi/Porsche in Westlake, walked around the corner to look at the Lotus Evora at Silver Star, then took Westlake Blvd down to Potrero, hung a right on Potrero and took it all the way to Lynn Road. Took Lynn Road down into Camarillo where it becomes Potrero again until it terminated at Lewis, then Lewis north to the 101. Back home in Ventura by 9am. No cops, pretty clean roads, able to step on the loud pedal without fear in many spots, especially the rural zone between Dos Vientos Ranch and Cal State Channel Islands.

 

I wound up in the middle of 3 runs today...def was fun PCH is closed right at Neptune's Net but everything was pretty clear today. The weather was amazing but there was a lot of dirt on the road and Las Virgines was brutal...I'd wait until they finish repaving it before using it.

 

Left T.O. around 8. Hung out at the lookout until about 10. You passed less than 100' from my house. Im going to try to get up tp the Santa Barbara gathering one of these days.

 

Keep me posted on SB drive, I would be up for a drive.
