    Unfortunately i reside upstate (albany/Capital Region area), and dont get to see too many threads about the guys up here and what they are doing. (which i imagine is due to the lack there of) but are there any of you or anything going on up this way?

    i was about to ask the same thing...its a very odd thing to come across. I grew up in the Adirondack mountain area, so i have friends with camps and lake houses up that way, but im in college and residing in Albany now. I mean its not that theres a lack of stuff to do, its more like anything else, you get tired of doing it. or tired of seeing the same people in the same places.

    Automotive wise, my club holds meets every now and then, we go for a cruise, dinner, ect.

    We've recently started to gather more of the local clubs (i dont mean "teams " i mean like www.unysoc.org or www.ca-va.org ) like VW guys with Subaru guys, with Audi Guys. Im pushing for a more "unified" car community in the area really cause most of us do own multiple cars and we share the same passion.

    Im planning a charity drive for the late spring/early summer. So right now im just trying to reach out to as many people in the area and just meet them and see whats up.

    But like i said im just trying to find something else to do. If anyone is in the area or whatnot- Ive met a few people here that go to Suny Albany already.

    So ill keep an eye out and if anyones up this way shoot a pm i guess
