I honestly did not expect him to perform any better. Switching to an entirely different car with KERS, New team is tough enough. Factor in no testing and well this what you get. I feel that if Fisi could get a few days of testing under his belt he would have a better understanding of how the car responds to changes and be able to help the team set it up to his liking. Instead he is stuck with Kimi's base setup that more than likely does not work for his driving style.

When Fisi is motivated he is a 10/10 driver. Good enough to win many races if conditions are just right and his car is competitive. Problem is that he normally drives 9/10.

    yep.

I wouldn't see which way either of them went, but clearly compared to kimi and massa, they're lacking SOMETHING....I just don't know what.

I'd like to see Fishi with 7000km under his belt with the Ferrari b4 saying he is useless. The old days the drivers would have plenty of time to get familiar with a car b4 a race.

Unlike Badoer Fishi times do improve each session over the course of the weekend.

Fair point, but Fisi has done plenty of miles in his other cars for the many teams he has been with and achieved little. Why would he suddenly become seriously competitive?

That is what is wrong with this season; the 4 drivers at the top are all "lets see if the race comes to me and I happen to win" sort of drivers. The only drivers that are "I'm going to win this flipping race" are or were hampered by weak cars, with LH (thanks to McLaren's speed of development) being the best improver.

This season is all about watching who fncks their 1 chance up ... not a proper battle for the top spot.

The whole damn season is disappointing.

Rubens for WDC is all that's left.

Well, Raikkonen was 12th, so you couldn´t expect something much better than 18th from Fisichella.

As I said...what annoys me about Fisichella is the way he constantly keeps handing out excuses when things don't go well.

Like we already said, He is just showing how big of a turd the f60 is,
and how Kimi and Massa are top drivers who can still do something with it..but don't expect miracles..

I was there (Singapore) within 10 to 15 feet away from Kimi, and belive me from the look of his face he doesn't have the "I want to win this race" look on his hace as if he doesn't have the urge to win. I don't know maybe it's time for Alonzo to come aboard.

Congrats to Hamilton though, Job well done!

I think Fisichellas dream of driving for Ferrari before he retires, is the only thing that matters to him. Win or loose. I am guessing that he clearly knew that he would not preform as good in a Ferrari as he did in the Force India. What everyone else thinks of him doing so is irrelevant.
I would have done the same in his shoes.

There's a reason why all these years Ferrari never hired him. You're just understanding it now.

But, to be fair, he has little time in the car and it does handle significantly differently than what he has driven. And, Ferrari has shut down all development on the cars making Kimi look not much better.

They should have just given him a steering wheel with a radio button and taken off KERS. I doubt the complexity of the KERS system has him confused; it just isn't worth having on some circuits.

Domenicali-led Ferrari is a POS team. Fisi, Alonso, Jesus, whoever at the wheel won't make much difference. Well deserved too, I might add.

I expected him not to come in last and be completely outclassed by the field. Anything beyond that was gravy. He's lived up to my expectations.

Well at least his excuses have to do with him and not the car. He admits he is having difficulties

The part I really have a hard time understanding is how a driver and his car can go from winning one race and finishing midpack or worse in another.
