Holy crap you guys have some lovely Porsches. I must say that 6.5 liter 928 has me drooling. Always been a fan of the 928s. Also love the 993s.

Great looking car! The 993 C4s is the best of the modern P-cars IMHO. I love the widebody!

I have this for sale right now in my inventory. 2002 Porsche GT3......Canadian spec. Wish I owned it personally.........heh.

However, I really do own a beautifully original, documented two owner, 1987 928S4 though....bought it two weeks ago. No pics yet......getting it detailed and serviced. I'm going to keep it. It cost less than a Toyota Corolla.

That's an awesome 930 - is it the turbo carrera? If so, do you mind telling me what mods and if you have a intercooler? I'm a big fan of the 930

Thanks, yes its a Turbo Carrera, 76-77 have no intercooler and I don't want to go to the Turbo tail so it does not have one.

The mods are SSIs, K28 turbo, 1bar spring, dual exhaust, and an aluminum flywheel.

that car is stunning, thank you for sharing that pic. i am looking at a few older 930 's. any advice on web sites? i have read that the valves must be adjusted every 7500 miles? any isssues you or FerrariPete care to share? feel free to PM me if needed. thank you, Michael.

Michael, the valves need adjusting every 10k the same interval for all the 911 series with the exception of the hydraulic ones on the 993, on the Turbos you need to lower the engine about 4" by removing the 2 rear motor mount bolts to access the valves on the left side where the turbo is, not a big deal really.

They are a rock solid car and very reliable, easy to work on also, as far as issues I would say turbo lag in traffic is a bugger, but once the car hits 4000rpm full boost kicks in and you are at redline 7000rpm in an instant, the car is a blast to drive, very light stock weight is 2600lbs on the Turbo Carrera and its very fast and tossable, I live in the desert so air cooled cars don't do well in 110'+ heat so I don't drive it during the summer days, I plan on adding a front Carrera cooler in the fender to replace the trombone it will help some.

    websites I would say pelicanparts.com 911tech, rennlist and I believe 911turbo.com also.

Feel free to PM me or post more quetions here as I am sure others may have the same questions.

I had a 993 C4 a couple of years ago. Very reliable car. Never had an issue with it. Just found it oddly un-involving to drive.

If you haven't watched the 4 minute test drive video (ok...more like 3 minutes 40 seconds of talk & 20 seconds of test drive) at 928motorsports.com, you should really take a look.

Looks like the stage 1 system is $4295.... maybe if I get a paper route & deliver while driving to work :)
