Sorry, sorry -- I was f-chatting from the stage yesterday in between takes (It's good to be the king). Also, I rarely leave the NY forum...
I can agree with you. I rarely leave the Tri State Forum as well. The others are just too much for me. Once in a while I stop in the General but there are just to many threads.
When in doubt, talk to the Aussies... http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring/news_reports/ferrari-430-modena.htm
I feel bad plagiarising and I know most of us are too lazy to click on a link so here's some information that was posted in the general section by William H regding the 575 replacement "Werner of Miller Motorcars told me the Japanese designer of the Enzo is gone & Pininfarina has a new American star designer. The new "Maranello" will be based on the 612 chasis with a detuned Enzo engine & it will have a very aggressive body. Also look for a 575 Barchetta maybe for 05 or 06" Now I'd rather put a deposit down for that! Only problem is the depreciation on them v12s
So put your deposit into a CD or something equally safe and in 3 years, roll it into a used 575 Barchetta... Oh, and I hope the 575 Barchetta is better than the 550 'cause that is one flexy car!
I wasnt talking about the barchetta I was talking about the 575 replacement.. Barchettas hold value well actually
Nice story Utkarsh. I hope the car looks good and not like some stupid futuristic concept like they are making all cars these days.
I think these shots are fairly accurate.. the 430 is gonna be evolutionary much like 308->328 and 348->355
308 --> 328 --> 348 --> 355 --> 360 :: Was very evolutionary. It's sort of hard to confuse those cars with one another. 360 --> 430 is not evolutionary enough. I think Ferrari's gonna run into a 996/986 type of situation. Can you tell a 996 from a Boxster from the front at 50 yards? Can you tell the difference between a 360 and a 430 from 50 yards? (Yes, we will, but "normal" people won't) We'll see.
Are you suggesting we aren't normal??? But then there was the woman at the lingerie party that mentioned she loved Viper's while pointingn to Oscar's Diablo. Nope, she wasn't blond
