Thinking of selling mine for something more modern as haven't been using it much over my other cars.

    1990 black on red.
    6500 miles
New tyres and had a minor service along with hood struts

    DM for info.

LOL! When we re-wired my '86 Ultra-Smith RUF Slant Nose 930, we pulled 55lbs of wiring out of it. We left all of the non functional switches to not have holes in the dash. Radar Detector, Extreme Stereo, extreme Alarm, Car Phone, etc. There were relays that Ultra-Smith built with a small circuit board inside a cardboard match box! Pretty shoddy work that added around $70-$80k to the original stock 930 price. That was a molested car!

My '91 TR is stock except the Capristo Exhaust. I paid $140k last Nov for it with 29300-ish miles. Last major was SEP 2023 and there are $122k in receipts back to 2012. It appears that TR's at the $140k price point now seem to need a major. Add a major and your in it for no less that $155k. So the uptick in value seems to be the difference between recent service or not for similar condition cars with a few outliers, like some of the auction results whether BAT or others. If you break even on TR ownership, that seems like a win.

You might be right, (and I’m certainly biased now) but I think TR’s will have their day. Anyone who’s seen the car in my garage, even non-car people, just stop and stare at it speechless. It’s truly a piece of art and in person it’s 10x better.
